I have loved art and horses since the time I was five years old. I always knew from that very young age that my life path would take me on a journey of self discovery through my love and appreciation of art and the natural world.
My post secondary school studies in art commenced at the world renowned Classical Animation Program at Sheridan College in Oakville in 1980, graduating in 1984. Shortly thereafter I began my professional career, first in Ottawa at Crawley Films, then joining Toronto’s Nelvana, one of North America’s largest animation studios, in 1987. I worked as a Layout Artist on many well known series for television, eventually transitioning exclusively into digital Storyboarding by 2004.
I returned to painting full time after a long and fulfilling career in animation in 2013. I hope to inspire in others an appreciation and respect for the natural world. As always, horses figure prominently in everything I do. Living and painting in the Caledon area since 1997, surrounded by its natural beauty, is the realization of a life’s dream.
