Where do you see the OAG heading in 2020?

1. Steering Committee and Social:

When?    Sunday 1st March from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
Where?  Mill Street branch of the Orangeville Public Library.  The Boardroom is downstairs at the library beyond the large meeting room.

You are welcome to an informal discussion about how the OAG will evolve in 2020.  Come and help us plan OAG’s 50th annual Fall Show!  How did we do at the 2019 Fall Show?  Future of Headwaters Healthcare Art Display?  Workshops continue to brim with inspiration every month through to April.  We held OAG’s 49th annual Fall Show at the Orangeville Town Hall, Culture Days, September in 2019.  Where do you see the OAG heading in 2020?

In order to have a successful Fall Event critical decisions must be made early – concerning booking the Town Hall venue, show budget – sponsorship?, suitable dates, Culture Days?, keep the previous theme?, how do we galvanize the media to support our cultural event?, have local dignitaries?, gala, etc.

Your input is valuable and it’s the perfect opportunity to weigh in.  Let’s move ahead – we need your ideas, input and your energy.

Refreshments will be served. A contribution of a snack would be appreciated.

2. The Annual General Meeting:

When?     The AGM planned for April was cancelled until further notice.
Where?   In the Main Meeting Room downstairs at the Orangeville Public Library

All members in good standing are welcome to attend. The meeting will include a report on the status of OAG to date, and a discussion on the future of OAG. There will an election of new members to the Board. We look forward to welcoming new members to the Board and to committees.
Notice of motions to be presented at the AGM must be sent in writing to (oville.art.group@gmail.com) no later than 29 February. Voting at the AGM will be restricted to members as of 29 February 2020, and who are present at the meeting.
